Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: To be, at the time of the assessment, 60 years old or more, residing in Marília, having autonomy and independence compatible for carrying out the tests without external aids, having no walking restriction or using auxiliary devices for the same; have the ability to stand for at least 90 seconds; have cognitive ability assessed by the Mini-Mental State Examination.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Elderly people with neurological pathologies who have a pathological gait, have an uncorrected neurological and / or orthopedic disorder; not signing the Informed Consent Form; not having cognitive ability assessed by the Mini-Mental State Examination.

In the evaluated parameters, we seek an improvement, stability or worsening of the speed and agility of the gait evaluated through the Timed Up and Go (TUG), improvement, stability or worsening of the muscular strength of the lower limbs evaluated by one of the Short Physical Performance Battery tests ( SPPB) and improves, stability or worsening of static balance assessed using bipedal pressure center (COP) data with eyes open and bipedal with eyes closed using the AMTI® force platform (AccuSway Dual Top, Watertown, MA, USA, with a sampling frequency of 100 Hz.

Improvement in the parameters of postural balance verified through specific tests such as the Timed Up and Go (TUG), the Short Physical Performance Battery (SPPB) and the evaluation of the pressure center data (COP) through the bipedal static posture with eyes open and bipedal with closed eyes obtained using the AMTI® force platform (AccuSway Dual Top, Watertown, MA, USA) with a sampling frequency of 100 Hz. The comparison parameter of the pre and post treatment will be obtained from the finding of a variation of at least 5% in the pre and post-intervention measurements.
