Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The participant must be in treatment at LAFFIC and should be in good general health, with no infection and no systemic disease. To be included in the research, the participant must not be taking any medication that could alter their perception of pain, or even antidepressant, diuretic or anticoagulant medications. These data will be verified in the anamnesis form contained in the FOB / USP medical record and / or updated before scraping and evaluation of each participant's general health history.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient with periodontal disease; patients with systemic diseases; patients with infection at the scraping site; patients with cardiovascular, renal or liver disease; patients taking antidepressant, diuretic or anticoagulant medications; patients with a history of allergy to any local anesthetic or vasoconstrictor; pregnant and lactating women.

Evaluation of percentage of patients with the presence of CYP3A4 gene polymorphisms, verified by genotyping through drug metabolism-related genotyping kits, with a significant difference of at least 5% compared to genetic polymorphisms of these genes in other populations.;Patients receiving anesthetic without epinephrine would have a shorter activity, unlike that associated with epinephrine, which by using vasoconstrictor would have a longer activity. Associated with genotyping, patients mutated to the CYP3A4 gene would have poor metabolism compared to non-mutated ones.;For the pharmacodynamic parameters will be monitored blood pressure, heart rate and oximetry, these parameters will be related to the type of anesthetic (associated or not with adrenaline), demonstrating that the use of anesthetic with or without adrenaline would not interfere with pharmacodynamics.
