Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Healthy women; obesity grade 1 and 2; who had abdominal obesity defined by waist circumference bigger then 88cm; age between 20 and 40 years
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Pregnant women; smoking; with history of cardiovascular, hepatic, renal, neurological, hematological, oncological, endocrine and gastrointestinal diseases; with a history of eating disorder or who had any significant psychiatric disorder such as depression or psychosis; with a history of allergic reactions; presence of infections or use of drugs with interference in the lipid or glucose profile or those with severe dyslipidemia

| It is expected that the completion of 8 weeks with question, a know coconut oil or soybean oil, placebo in the study, because of the different fatty acid compositions lead to a beneficial verification of distinct assisting in the weight loss process, waist circumference, height ratio, conicity index and fat mass, verified by the methods of anthropometry and bioimpedance;Improvement in the lipid profile of the study volunteers, expressed through the rates of total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, and HDL cholesterol evaluated by biochemical analysis;Improvement in the glycemic profile of the volunteers of the study, expressed by cholesterol levels glycosylated hemoglobin by biochemical analysis and estimated mean glycemia;Improvement in sleep and anxiety resulting in decreased food intake;Coconut oil supplementation was more effective for weight loss and anthropometric variables, as well as improving the most effective glycemic profile. Supplementation with safflower oil had an effect on weight loss. The supplementation with oil had a more pronounced effect on the improvement of the lipid profile | — |
