Postpartum women will be selected from 1-3 days postpartum and allocated to two groups: 1) Intervention group: 59 puerperas who during prenatal care at the Women's Hospital Prof. Dr. José Aristodemo

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adolescents up to 19 years; primiparous; single gestation; live and term children.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Puerperas with needs for admission to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in the immediate postpartum period; Puerperas of newborns with diagnosis of malformation, especially orofacial; Serum positive for human immunodeficiency virus (HIV); Puerperas using drugs incompatible with breastfeeding; Puerperas with diagnosed psychiatric disorder and those with hearing or cognitive impairment that prevent interaction

Main Outcome 1: Adolescent mothers who participate in educational groups on breastfeeding during prenatal care present a higher score in the "Breastfeeding Assessment Observation Form", 1-3 days postpartum and 40 days after delivery.

Secondary

Expected Outcome 1: The rate of exclusive breastfeeding among mothers adolescents, 40 days after delivery, is higher between who participe in educational groups on Breastfeeding. The outcome was verify from a pre-formulated questionnaire, created for the research, days after delivery, through the question: "Type of Lactation", with the following response options, according to WHO classification criteria: Exclusive"; "Predominant BF"; "Complementary BF"; "Mixed or Partial BF", "Stopped BF". This topic was questioned to the adolescent by a trained researcher.;Expected Outcome 2: Adolescent mothers who participated in educational groups on breastfeeding in prenatal care presented greater knowledge about how to promote a good breastfeeding. The outcomes was verify from a pre-formulated questionnaire, 1-3 days after delivery, through the question: "What did you remember having learned in the group / course when you went to breastfeed your child?" With the topics of the topics that should be addressed in AM groups, according to the Baby-friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI). ;Expected Outcome 3: The perception of the adolescent about the influence of the educational group on Breastfeeding in the feeding is positive. The outcomes was verify from a pre-formulated questionnaire, 1-3 days after delivery, through the questions: "How did you feel about breastfeeding your child after participating in the group/course?": "I felt more prepared to breastfeed."; "I felt the same as I did before participating in the group/course."; "I kept feeling unprepared for breastfeeding." "Did the breastfeeding group/course help you want to try to breastfeed your child after birth?": "Yes"; "No". "Did the breastfeeding group/course help you when you had to breastfeed your child for the first time?": "Yes", "No".
