Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Assess the strength of the respiratory muscles, through maximum respiratory pressures (MIP and MEP), determined by the Manovacuometry test, performed at the beginning and end of the study

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To assess the functional capacity of participants, determined by the one-minute sit-to-stand test performed at the beginning and end of the study;Evaluate the lung function, determined by spirometry, performed at the beginning and end of the study;Evaluate the quadriceps muscle strength, measured by the ten maximum repetition test, at the beginning and end of the study;Evaluate the handgrip strength, assessed by manual dynamometry, performed at the beginning and end of the study;Evaluate the quality of life related to Chronic Kidney Disease, determined by the questionnaire Kidney Disease Quality of Life Short Form (KDQOL-SF)
