Eligibility

Age
40 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Medical diagnosis; both sexes; age greater than or equal to 18 years; clinically stable with optimized drug therapy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients using walking aids; with cognitive disorders; with previous neurological disease; orthopedic problems that interfere with evaluations and interventions; urgent or elective surgical intervention during the protocol or six months before enrollment; pulmonary infectious process during protocol

MeasureTime frame
Increased maximal inspiratory pressure by 30% of predicted inspiratory pressure (data collected in the evaluation, one week before the start of the protocol)

Increased walking distance on six-minute walk test in 20% (meters)
