| It is expected to bring Brazilian rehabilitation sciences closer to aspects of photobiological medicine for rehabilitation, mainly focusing on delimiting interesting parameters to associate low-intensity light in treatments for sequelae that affect the central nervous system due to pre-existing functional losses or those acquired by traumatic, vascular, degenerative brain damage, neuropsychiatric diseases, acute and chronic. Laser light penetrates biological tissues variably and is proven to be capable of initiating regeneration and modulation processes in various areas of the cortex through the skull.;A tendency towards optimizing results in rehabilitation was observed, which depends on integrating motor, muscular and respiratory behavior through central control. Significant numbers were found in the statistical analysis, especially with regard to respiratory parameters. | — |
