Age
18 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with clinical diagnosis of Spondyloarthritis for at least 6 months, under ambulatory medical follow-up and stabilized drug therapy; age between 18 and 60 years; residing in Campo Grande and region

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants younger than 18 years of age; diagnosed less than 6 months of age; without stabilized drug therapy; living outside Campo Grande / MS and region; in addition to those in another systematic physiotherapy program; in febrile and infectious history of stroke; Parkinson's disease; neurological gait disorders; cognitive impairment; cardiopulmonary contraindications to physical exercise; malignant neoplasia; hip and / or knee osteoarthritis; disc herniation; uncontrolled diabetes and hypertension; knee and / or hip arthroplasty performed within 3 months; arthrodesis; pregnant women; indigenous people; quilombolas and deprived of their liberty.

MeasureTime frame
The activation of paravertebral muscles (multifidus and very long of the back) will be evaluated through surface electromyography. For the study, an electromyograph of the Miotec brand (Miotec Equipamentos biomédicos LTDA, Porto Alegre, RS, Brazil), calibrated with 1000-fold gain, 10Hz high-pass filter, 500Hz low-pass filter and 60 notch filter Hz. The sampling frequency used will be 2000 Hz. The electrodes will be positioned bilaterally; should be aligned in the caudal line, between the posterior iliac spines, in the intervertebral space of L1 and L2 (2 electrodes) and at the level of the spinal process of L5, that is, 2 to 3 cm from the midline (1 electrode ); and for Spinal Eretor (long back): the electrode should be positioned approximately 2cm from the spinous process of L1 (SENIAM, 2017). Data regarding the median frequency, neuromuscular efficiency (ENM) and the paravertebral muscle activation index will be collected, and the mean root mean square (RMS) will be used in this study. In what will be considered significant results, those that obtained increased efficiency and activation of the paravertebrates in the period of the study (12 weeks), verified by means of the test of analysis of variance of two routes from the finding of a variation of at least 5% in the pre and post intervention measurements.;Increase of muscular strength levels, which will be measured isometrically by means of a load cell, this being an instrument that contains components sensitive to the tensile stresses. Participants will be instructed to perform maximum voluntary contraction of the muscles tested in their position of greatest mechanical advantage, with due stabilization of the segment. The muscle groups to be tested will be the extensors of the trunk, medial deltoid and quadriceps. The placement of each test will be performed according to the Kendall muscle strength assessment.
