Interventions

This is a randomized clinical study with a minimum of 52 adolescents (aged between 11 and 17 years) divided into two groups, control and intervention. Both groups will be evaluated at 2 moments, pre a
daily meals with instruction from a nutritionist (with instructions on good practices in healthy eating and control of consumption of ultra-processed foods in the first and fifth weeks of intervention
two brief meditation sessions (10 minutes each) per week (prior to the physical activity sessions)

Age
11 Years to 17 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Healthy volunteers; both genders; aged between 11 and 17 years; agree to participate in the study by signing the consent forms by their guardian and assent by the participant

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Self-report of diagnosis of psychiatric disorders; self-report of use of alcohol or drugs; physical inability to perform physical exercise; food intolerance to some food; participant who does not participate in any stage of the study

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected that adolescents in the intervention group, when practicing the lifestyle intervention, especially physical activity, mindfulness, healthy eating and sleep guidelines, will present better mental health parameters when compared to the control group

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The lifestyle intervention group is expected to show improvements in healthy lifestyle habits, especially diet, physical activity, sleep quality and stress management, when compared to themselves before the study and to the control group
