Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: People aged 18 years or older; of both sexes; people with confirmed diagnosis of type 2 diabetes mellitus and with dermatological lesions

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: People with generalized edema, pregnant women, breastfeeding women, who cannot perform anthropometric assessment, with amputated limbs or with some type of mental or physical disability; individuals with intrinsic vulnerability who have difficulty understanding their decisions due to a mental disorder, chemical dependency or neurological disease; people who consume antioxidant or omega 3 supplements and anticoagulants; smoking people

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Wound healing and parameters of glucose metabolism will be considered as the primary outcome variables of the study

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
lipid profiles and markers of inflammation and oxidative stress will be considered as the secondary outcome variables.
