Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All pregnant women diagnosed with chronic hypertension and clinical suspicion of superimposed preeclampsia (due to worsening blood pressure control); age over 18 years; gestacional age over 20 weeks; exacerbated weight gain; emergence or worsening of proteinuria; signs of placental insufficiency after 20 weeks of gestation
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: HELLP syndrome; eclampsia; signs of imminent eclampsia; hypertensive crisis, when systolic blood pressure =160 and/or diastolic blood pressure =110mmHg; acute fetal distress
