Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to analyze the effectiveness of auriculotherapy to reduce anxiety in primary health care professionals in the city of Lagarto, Sergipe. Verified from the performance of a Randomized Clinical Trial, controlled and double blind, The data will be tabulated and analyzed by the Microsoft Office Excel 2017 and BioEstat 5.0 software, where the frequencies and percentages will be calculated for the categorical variables and the numerical ones will be expressed under the mean ± standard deviation and Confidence Interval (95% CI) or as median and quartile range. Tests will be used to assess the normality of data distribution and allow the use of parametric and non-parametric tests. To assess the relationship between the variables, Pearson's Chi-square or Fisher's Exact tests will be used for categorical variables and the Student's t-test or Mann-Whitney test for numerical variables. For comparison between groups, repeated measures ANOVA will be used. Cohen's d index will also be used to measure the size of the treatment effect and the percentage of change in the three moments (before, after 5 and 10 sessions). The significance level considered will be p<0.05. Data will be presented in the form of graphs, figures and tables. And from these analyzes we will observe a decrease in the score of the Anxiety Inventory, and consequently the finding of the effectiveness of the auriculotherapy technique in reducing anxiety
