Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age over 18 years; good health status

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Use of antimicrobials and/or mouthwash in the past three months; Smoking; Alcoholism; Diabetes; Autoimmune diseases; Gingivitis; Periodontitis; Oral mucosal lesions; Borderline blood pressure values

MeasureTime frame
Expected outcome 1 Based on previous studies, an average increase of 5 mmHg in systolic and diastolic blood pressure is expected after 7 days of using chlorhexidine mouthwash, as assessed by standardized measurements taken before and after the intervention.
