Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Expected outcome: the expected outcome of the study was the adherence of women sensitized by adolescents to colpocytological examination through community action.;Outcome found: During the data collection at the health unit, 70 women were sensitized by the adolescents who participated in the study. Of these, 31 were from the control group and 39 were from the intervention group. There was no statistically significant difference between the groups (p = 0.236). To evaluate the effects of the intervention on the adherence of women to the colpocytological exam, initially, the adolescent groups were evaluated regarding the homogeneity of the sample regarding the identification data, knowledge and attitude of these groups related to the colpocytological exam present in the CAP survey. (knowledge, attitude and practice). Differences in mean age, education, and onset of sexual activity among the adolescents in the groups studied were assessed using the Mann Whitney U test and, for categorical variables, the comparison between the two groups was performed using the Chi-square test. from Pearson. For all analyzes, a p value less than 0.05 was considered statistically significant.
