Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Postpartum woman aged between 19 and 40 years in the immediate vaginal postpartum period; Postpartum woman with second- or third-degree perineal laceration

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Trauma in the perineal region (prior to delivery);Postpartum woman with diabetes; Postpartum women who underwent episiotomy; Postpartum hemorrhage

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The use of low-intensity photobiomodulation reduces pain in second- and third-degree perineal lacerations in postpartum women in the immediate postpartum period.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The use of photobiomodulation in postpartum women with second- and third-degree lacerations compared to the control group: improves healing; improves maternal satisfaction level; analgesic use.
