Age
65 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Men and women; age between 65 and 80 years; intellectual capacity to understand verbal commands and to perform tasks; at least one fall in the last six months; ability to stand and walk independently without the use of assistive devices; present a MiniBEST score below the cutoff point for age-adjusted risk of falling

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Cognitive deficits, such as Alzheimer's Disease; color blindness or other visual impairment not corrected by glasses or contact lenses; severe uncontrolled musculoskeletal, sensory, neurological or cardiovascular problems

MeasureTime frame
An improvement in the adaptive response of gait is expected, analyzed through the Gait Adaptability Test with targets and obstacles of sudden appearance, whose parameters of number of errors in stepping on the target and in avoiding stepping on the obstacle, accuracy of the step taken on the target, number of steps taken to approach the target and the obstacle, length and speed of the step and time spent in double support will be observed

An improvement in the cognitive capacity of processing speed is expected, analyzed through the Trail Making Test - Part A, whose time parameter to complete the task will be observed;An improvement in the cognitive capacity of cognitive flexibility is expected, analyzed through the Trail Making Test - Part B, whose time parameter to complete the task will be observed;An improvement in the cognitive capacity of selective attention is expected, analyzed through the Stroop Test - Victoria Version, whose parameter of time to complete the task on cards one and two added together will be observed;An improvement in the cognitive capacity of inhibitory control is expected, analyzed through the Stroop Test - Victoria Version, whose parameter of time to complete the task on card three divided by the sum of the times to complete the task on cards one and two will be observed;An improvement in the cognitive capacity of working memory is expected, analyzed through the Digit Span Test, whose score parameter per correct answer will be observed;An improvement in dynamic balance is expected, analyzed through the Mini-Test of Balance Assessment Systems, whose scoring parameter for performance in the activities carried out will be observed;An improvement is expected in concern about the risk of falling, analyzed using the International Falls Efficacy Scale, whose scoring parameter by level of concern when carrying out daily activities will be observed
