Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to find that gametherapy has a positive influence on quality of life, verified by the WHOQOL-OLD questionnaire; It is expected to find that gametherapy has a positive influence on the clinical-functional outcomes, assessed using the instruments time up and go test, dynamometry, 6-minute walk test and montreal cognitive assessment; It is expected to find that gametherapy modulate the biomarkers, by measuring the global acetylation of histones H3 and H4 and BDNF levels in institutionalized elderly

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Gametherapy is expected to significantly benefit the analyzed variables; It is expected a negative correlation between quality of life (assessed using the WHOQOL-OLD questionnaire) and institutionalization time, and positive correlations in the others
