Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to find an improvement in the participants' glycemic control. This outcome will be verified through the laboratory measurement of glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c). A clinically relevant improvement will be considered as a minimum reduction of 1.0 percentage point in HbA1c values, comparing the results obtained before the start (baseline) and after the completion of the 12-week intervention (post-intervention).
