Eligibility

Age
18 Years to 40 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Healthy individuals of both sexes; between 18 and 40 years old and sedentary; matched for age and body mass index; will be invited to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria will be: use of regular medication (except contraceptives); cardiometabolic diseases, pregnancy; patients with pacemakers or implantable cardioverter defibrillators

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the difference in minimum blood pressure during rest and the orthostatic maneuver in young men and women and the impact of ganglionic TENS on this variable assessed by the finometer.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the heart rate variability at rest and during the orthostatic maneuver in healthy young men and women and the impact of ganglionic TENS on this variable assessed by the electrocardiogram.
