| Expected outcome 1: It is expected to find an increase in Lower Limb Resistant Strength, verified through the number of repetitions performed in the Standing and Sitting on Chair test (30s). The average number of repetitions between the groups will be compared, before and after the 12 weeks of intervention. A significant increase in the number of repetitions is expected for both intervention groups (GTF and GTP) after 12 weeks;Expected outcome 2: It is expected to find an increase in agility and dynamic balance, verified through the time elapsed to perform the Timed-up-and-go (TUG) test. The average time to perform the test between groups will be compared, before and after the 12 weeks of intervention. A significant reduction in test execution time is expected for both intervention groups (GTF and GTP) after 12 weeks;Outcome found 1: The Resistance Strength of Lower Limbs increased significantly both for the GTP and for the CG after 12 weeks, verified through the number of repetitions performed in the Standing and Sitting on the Chair test (30s). In turn, there was a maintenance of the number of repetitions for the GTF between the pre and post intervention period;Outcome found 2: There was a significant reduction in the test execution time for the GTP and GC after 12 weeks, verified through the time elapsed to perform the Timed-up-and-go (TUG) test. No significant differences were observed for the GTF between the pre- and post-intervention period | — |

| Expected outcome 3: It is expected to find an improvement in the general quality of life, verified through the WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire (World Health Organization 1996). The average score between the groups will be compared, before and after the 12 weeks of intervention. In addition, an analysis by domains (Physical, Psychological, Environment and Social Relations) will be performed, comparing the average score between the groups for each domain, before and after the 12 weeks of intervention. A significant increase in the total test score is expected, as well as in the domain analysis, for both intervention groups (GTF and GTP) after 12 weeks;Expected outcome 4: It is expected to find an improvement in the quality of life of the elderly, verified through the WHOQOL-OLD questionnaire (Fleck, 2003). The average score between the groups will be compared, before and after the 12 weeks of intervention. In addition, an analysis by domains (Sensory Functioning; Autonomy; Past, Present, and Future Activities; Death and Dying; Social Participation; Intimacy) will be performed, comparing the average score between the groups for each domain, before and after the 12 weeks of intervention. A significant increase in the total test score is expected, as well as in the domain analysis, for both intervention groups (GTF and GTP) after 12 weeks;Expected outcome 5: It is expected to find an improvement in sleep quality, verified through the PSQI questionnaire (Bertolazi, 2011). The average score between the groups will be compared, before and after the 12 weeks of intervention. A significant reduction in the total test score is expected for both intervention groups (GTF and GTP) after 12 weeks;Expected outcome 7: It is expected to find an improvement in pain, verified through the SF-MPQ questionnaire (Melzack, 1987). The total score between the groups will be compared, before and after the 12 weeks of intervention. In the same way, the score in the question referring to the Visual An | — |
