Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: The time from the last radiation session had to be a minimum of 6 months. A further requirement was the non existence of periodontal pockets deeper than 4 mm. Teeth not able to be isolated with rubber dam were excluded. Patients under antibiotic treatment in the last 3 months could not be included in this clinical study.
