Age
18 Years to 59 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Blind individual or individual with low vision; age between 18 and 59 years; cognitive autonomy assessed by the cut-off points of the Mini-Mental State Examination; and no neurological, cardiac or disabling musculoskeletal diseases.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Missing three or more consecutive sessions of physiotherapy and/or missing five sessions during the period of the protocol execution. Furthermore, participants who clearly had difficulties understanding the questionnaire at some point of the study were excluded.

To evaluate the improvement of patients' quality of life, through the application of the SF-36 questionnaire, in the pre and post intervention evaluations.;An increase in the SF-36 questionnaire score between pre and post intervention evaluations was observed, although not significant (p?0,05), showing an improvement in functional: -physical conditions: pre:80; post:85; p=0,92 -general health:pre:62; post:74,5; p=0,06 -vitality: pre:57,5; post:80 p=0,17 -social aspects: pre:56,2; post:62,5; p=0,78 -emotional: pre:33,3; post:66,7; p=0,36 -mental health: pre: 54; post: 68; p=0,06 This change in scores indicates a positive impact on the quality of life of all individuals.

The sedentary lifestyle of the visually impaired is expected to be changed through the practice of protocol adapted twice a week for an extended period.;After the practice of the protocol, changes in the sedentary lifestyle of visually impaired individuals were observed, which helps to prevent many diseases and maintain health.
