Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Military police officers from the 2nd Special Actions Battalion of the Military Police - BAEP de Santos; who agree to participate in the study; have worked in the military police for at least 1 year; do not have a previous psychiatric diagnosis; age between 26 and 50 years; male

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Military police officers who use medicines that modulate the nervous system; and/or who present an attendance rate of less than 75% in the physical training sessions proposed in the study

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to find a significant decrease in the number of police officers classified as having advanced Burnout and an increase in the number of police officers classified as having initial Burnout after the training period when compared to the pre-training period, assessed using the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI);It is expected to find an improvement of at least 20% in the physical fitness of police officers after the training period when compared to the pre-training period, assessed through the physical fitness test.

t is expected to find a reduction of at least 15% in the body mass index (BMI) of police officers after the training period when compared to the pre-training period, assessed through body composition tests;It is expected to find an improvement of at least 10% in the aerobic capacity of police officers after the training period when compared to the pre-training period, assessed through the cardiopulmonary exercise test;It is expected to find a significant reduction in the blood pressure of police officers after the training period when compared to the pre-training period, assessed using a semi-automatic oscillometric blood pressure device;It is expected to find a significant reduction in the heart rate of police officers after the training period when compared to the pre-training period, assessed using a semi-automatic oscillometric blood pressure device;It is expected to find a significant improvement in the cardiac autonomic function of police officers after the training period when compared to the pre-training period, assessed through heart rate variability;It is expected to find a reduction in the alcohol consumption of police officers after the training period when compared to the pre-training period, assessed using the Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test (AUDIT) questionnaire;It is expected to find a significant improvement in the quality of sleep of police officers after the training period when compared to the pre-training period, assessed using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index;It is expected to find a significant improvement in the quality of life of police officers after the training period when compared to the pre-training period, assessed using the World Health Organization Quality of Life – Bref (WHOQOL-Bref)
