Eligibility
Age
18 Years to 25 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Young people of both sexes; age between 18 and 25 years old; volunteer and sign the Free and Informed Consent Form (TCLE); acne lesions on the face with a significant impact on quality of life; Cardiff Acne Disability Index (CADI) scale with a score from 1 to 15
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: In other acne treatments; women using contraceptives; pregnant and breastfeeding women; allergies to one of the product’s components

| Expected outcome: The developed product is expected to provide an improvement in skin rashes typical of acne, as well as a reduction in these lesions, increasing the individual's well-being ;Outcome found: Based on the results obtained, it can be indicated that the known healing, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial actions of the green banana peel contributed to the effectiveness of the product on acne, since in the two questionnaires applied to the participants in this research, there was improves quality of life. Therefore, the phytocosmetic in question had a positive impact and could contribute to alleviating acne, a problem faced mainly by teenagers and young people in society. | — |
