Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Intermaxillary fixation and occlusal stability - it will be evaluated through the application of forces while the patient is blocked during surgery, observing movement between the dental arches and dental occlusion keys. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Postoperative dental occlusal stability - will be evaluated by opening and closing the occlusion immediately after the occlusion is unlocked during surgery, observing occlusion keys.;Time for the intermaxillary fixation method application and removal - the time from the beginning of application of the method to the blockage of the occlusion during surgery will be evaluated.;Oral hygiene - it will be measured through periodontal indices evaluated 7, 15 and 30 days after surgery.;Quality of life - evaluated through the adapted Oral Health Impact Profile-14 questionnaire, applied 7, 15 and 30 days after surgery. | — |
