Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients with low back pain seeking care in health services in Belo Horizonte Minas Gerais; Pain or discomfort located between the last rib and above the lower gluteal fold with or without pain in lower limbs; Pain or discomfort for at least three months; Patients with common imaging findings, such as osteoarthritis, grade I spondylolysis and spondylolisthesis or protrusion / hernia / prolapse disc, but with clinical symptoms that meet the inclusion.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients who have had recent spine surgery or knowledge or suspicion of severe spinal pathology, such as fracture, metastasis, inflammatory or infectious diseases of the spine, cauda equina syndrome, radiculopathy (at least two of the following signs: weakness, reflex change or loss of sensation associated with the same spinal nerve); Patients with any contraindications to exercise in accordance with American College of Sports Medicine guidelines.

| The assessment of Central Sensitisation will be measured with Central Sensitisation Inventory. The Part A of the questionnaire will be used. The total score for part A ranges from 0 to 100, with higher scores representing a higher frequency of symptoms related to Central Sensitisation.;The Conditioned Pain Modulation (CPM) will be measured by the conditioning stimulus of pain during the Cold Pressure Test (CPT). The CPM is an appropriate method to assess the diffuse noxious inhibitory control. The conditioning stimulus will be the immersion of the hand and forearm in a bucket of ice water. The pressure pain threshold (PPT) will be measured using a digital pressure algometer. This test will be performed before and after one minute of the CPT, and the thresholds will be compared. Tibialis anterior muscle and the distal part of the dorsal forearm, which will not be immersed in water, were chosen to be evaluated due to the lack of relation with patients' musculoskeletal complaints. The operation of the pressure algometer and measurement of PPT will be explained to patients prior the assessment. In addition, a familiarization procedure will be carried out with the pressure algometer by applying pressure to the dominant forearm to ensure that the test will be understood. The force will be gradually increased (rate of 1 kilograms-force/s) until the feeling of pressure change to pain. The PPT was recorded in kilograms-force (Kgf) when the patient give the verbal command of pain.;The Pain Pressure threshold (PPT) will be measured by a trained examiner using a digital algometer. Pressure will be applied with a constant rate of 1 kg /cm2 until the participant reports pain. The participants will be instructed to say stop when the feeling of pressure change to pain. The PPT will be recorded in kilograms-force (Kgf) when the patient give the verbal command of pain.
