Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patient from 18 years of age; upper teeth free of caries; anterior superior teeth free of restorations on the vestibular face; central or canine incisors showing coloration C2 or darker

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnant or lactating; Smokers; Users of fixed orthodontic appliance; Individuals with severe intrinsic stains on the teeth; Users of drugs with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant action; Participants with a previous history of dental sensitivity or any associated pathology

MeasureTime frame
Bleaching effect obtained with 37% carbamide peroxide compared to 35% hydrogen peroxide through a subjective method with Vita Classical and Vita Bleaching color scales, oriented in order of value, and an objective method with the EasyShade spectrophotometer after two sessions of tooth whitening. Where it is expected to observe greater bleaching effectiveness with 35% hydrogen peroxide.;Presence or absence of genotoxic effect through the technique of exfoliative cytology and counting of cellular micronuclei, in a space of one thousand cells, after bleaching treatment

Absolute risk and sensitivity intensity after bleaching treatment, through numerical pain and visual analogue scales. Where a decrease in the 37% carbamide peroxide group is expected.
