Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Elderly persons previously diagnosed by physicians qualified both in the public and private network of Recife, PE, Brazil; who are 60 years of age or over; have not exercised for at least six months; sign the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: To have acute musculoskeletal pain, interfering in the performance of the tests and in the training; history and sequelae of neurodegenerative diseases; express the desire to stop participating in the research.

| The expected outcome 1 is the improvement of cognitive functions in depressed elderly women when compared to pre and post training (after 24 training sessions), evaluated through: Stroop test (selective attention) will be taken into account the number of errors and the time spent; verbal fluency test (if we consider the number of fruits said); labyrinth test (navigation capability) will be used in the evaluation of the planning and execution time; dual task test (accomplishment of a motor task aligned with a cognitive task) what will be considered is the execution time.;The expected outcome 2 is the improvement of Brain Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF) levels (collected 5 ml of blood per arm puncture) in depressed women when compared to pre and post training (after 24 training sessions). | — |
