Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Reduction of perceived stress and caregiver burden in both groups, control and intervention (respectively p equal to 0.027; p equal to 0.001); with no statistically significant difference between groups in any of the measures. Using the perceived stress scales and caregiver bruden scale at three different times (pre intervention, post-intervention and follow-up), using the ANOVA parametric test for successive measures, considering a p less than 0.005 as statistically significant.;Greater reduction in perceived stress and caregiver burden in the intervention group compared to the control group. Using the perceived stress scales and caregiver bruden scale at three different times (pre intervention, post-intervention and follow-up), using the ANOVA parametric test for successive measures, considering a p less than 0.005 as statistically significant. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Greater reduction in perceived stress and caregiver burden in the follow-up period (12 to 14 weeks after the end of the intervention) in relation to the post-intervention period in the intervention group and maintenance of the levels of stress reduction and caregiver burden in the control group in the follow-up period in relation to the post-intervention period. Using the perceived stress scales and caregiver burden scale comparing values after intervention and follow-up, using the parametric ANOVA test for successive measures, considering a p less than 0.005 as statistically significant. | — |
