Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Measurement of maximum diaphragmatic excursion through pre- and immediate post-intervention ultrasound | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Modified Borg Scale for analyzing the level of respiratory effort before and after immediate intervention;Manovacuometry using an analog manovacuometer with a pressure of +/- 150 cmH2O to measure maximum inspiratory pressure and maximum expiratory pressure before and after immediate intervention;Spirometry using a portable digital spirometer to measure forced vital capacity (FVC) and forced expiratory volume in 1 second (FEV1) before and after immediate intervention | — |
