Age
18 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients of both sexes;over 18 years old; diagnosed with acute acromioclavicular dislocation within 21 days of injury; Rockwood type 3;4;5;6

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Previous shoulder surgeries; multiple trauma patients; abuse of alcohol or illicit drugs; exposed injuries; carrier of neoplastic disease; associated fractures in the upper limb; adhesive capsulitis; glenohumeral osteoarthritis; psychiatric illness; pregnancy; comorbidities not clinically compensated; presence of active infection, loss of follow up of the first clinical evaluation carried out at 3 months

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary outcome will be assessed by the ACJI score (acromioclavicular joint instability) and it is expected to find a difference greater than 10 points in the use of the arthroscopic technique 12 months after surgery

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The secondary outcome will be assessed by the ACJI score (acromioclavicular joint instability) at 3 and 6 months postoperatively and it is expected that there will be no difference between the techniques used.;Another secondary outcome will be obtained through the Constant Murley score at 3, 6 and 12 months postoperatively and it is expected that there will be no difference between the techniques used.;We will evaluate the radiographic changes through biacromial views in steel and zinc and modified Alexander view at 3,6 and 12 months postoperatively and the expected result is that the open technique will present greater loss of reduction and greater dynamic posterior translation compared to the arthroscopic technique.
