Interventions

Forty-three patients with bronchial asthma will be selected from a previous study and will demonstrate the inhalation technique (IT). Participants who present incorrect IT will be trained immediately

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with incorrect inhalation technique selected from previous study. Over 18 years of age Does not present with an exacerbation on the day of the consultation Does not need help from other party to use inhaler

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients using a spacer

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Reduction of 25% in the absolute number of patients with an inadequadte inhalation technique (IT), when compared the pre- and post-intervention evaluations, verified using the chi-square test (or Fisher's test) to determine statistical significance.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Increased absolute number of patients with controlled asthma, when comparing pre and post-intervention evaluation, verified using the chi-square test (or Fisher's test) to determine statistical significance.
