Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Elderly aged 60 and over Seniors of both sexes UNAMI students; Elderly men and women who participate in CRAS activities. Elderly men and women interested in the study after disclosure of UEMS;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Elderly people with inability to communicate and / or autonomy to respond; With cognitive deficit, mental illnesses mainly schizophrenia, epilepsy; Elderly people who use antidepressants (for directly interfering with the outcome of interventions) Elderly people who are already practicing (at least once a week) yoga and meditation. 3 or more absences in mindfulness practices

Expected outcome 1 - Improvement in the conscious attention of the elderly, measured by the Brazilian version of the Mindful Attention Awareness Scale (MAAS). Data collection performed one week before the start of the intervention and twelve weeks after the end of the intervention.;Outcome found 1- Improvement in the conscious attention of the elderly, assessed by the Brazilian version of the Mindful Attention Awareness Scale (MAAS), with significant differences (P = 0.014) when compared to the previous situation. Data were collected one week before the start of the intervention and twelve weeks after the end of the intervention.;Expected outcome 2 - Improvement in the depressive symptoms of the elderly, measured by the reduced Geriatric Depression Scale version 15. Data collection performed one week before the start of the intervention and twelve weeks after the end of the intervention.;Expected outcome 3- Improvement in the mental state of the elderly, measured by the Mini-Mental State Examination - MMSE. Data collection performed one week before the start of the intervention and twelve weeks after the end of the intervention. ;Outcome found 3- Improvement in the mental state of the elderly, measured by the Mini-Mental State Examination - MEEM, with significant differences (P = <0.001) when compared to the previous situation. Data were collected one week before the start of the intervention and twelve weeks after the end of the intervention.
