Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The volunteer must have performed some treatment in the outpatient clinics of the Dentistry Department of the Federal University of Sergipe; it should have its oral volatile sulfur compound levels higher than seventy-five parts per billion at initial reading.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Smokers; alcoholics; pregnant women; patients with mental disorders that make it difficult to understand questions present on the form; patients with morphological alterations in the tongue; patients with motor dysfunction that prevents the use of the tongue scraper.
