Age
18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: At least 18 years; Missing tooth in the anterior maxilla; Need for a single implant crown; Presence of one adjacent tooth at the implant site; Presence of antagonist; Adequate oral hygiene; Capability to comply with the study procedures; Signed Informed Consent Form

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Ridge preservation procedure after tooth extraction performed; Pregnant or lactating women; Known or suspected non-compliance, drug or alcohol abuse; Smokers (more than 10 cigarettes/day); Currently taking drugs that influence bone metabolism; Use of bisphosphonates in the last 4 years; History of malignancy, radiotherapy or chemotherapy for malignancy in the past 5 years

Expected outcome 1 Loss of peri-implant bone tissue, determined by the difference of vertical distance between implant shoulder to marginal bone level from baseline (2 to 4 weeks after final reconstruction) to 1-year values
