Primary

MeasureTime frame
Reduced hepatic steatosis, verified by ultrasound; from the observation of a change of at least 10% in pre- and post-intervention measurements and is considered the degree parameter 1, 2 and 3;Insulin resistance reduction, verified by HOMA index, based on the statement of a variation of at least 10% in pre and post intervention measurements and is considered high-value above 2.5

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Improvement of the quality of life, evaluated through the questionnaire Sf-36 (Medical Outcomes study 36-Ítem Short- Form Health Survey); To measure the plasma levels of aspartate transaminase (AST), alanine transaminase (ALT), fasting glycemia, triglycerides, HDL, LDL and insulin, before and after intervention.
