Standard intervention: 22 minutes of submaximal aerobic exercise with intensity between 60% and 65% of estimated maximum heart rate (HR) = maximum HR = 220 - age.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Eutrophic; age 18 to 40 years
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Smoking; cardiorespiratory and neurological disorders; musculoskeletal injury

Acceleration in the recovery of autonomic control of heart rate was found in the period after submaximal aerobic exercise in the beer intervention. Presenting significant differences observed in HRV indices the SDNN, RRtri, TINN, LF (nu), HF (nu) and LF / HF between water and beer protocol. The value of p less than =0.05 was considered for the respective indices.
