Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Premature newborn with clinical diagnosis of type I respiratory distress syndrome using invasive or non-invasive ventilatory support.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Newborns with congenital neurological, heart and respiratory diseases that are not associated with RDS type I; newborns with skin lesions at the site of laser application; newborns whose parents or guardians do not sign the Informed Consent Form (ICF)

It is hoped with this study that through the irradiation of the modified ILIB, it will optimize the control and decrease of systemic inflammatory processes in premature infants and, consequently, reduce the time of dependence on ventilatory support and intensive care.
