In the experimental group, 35 women with symptoms of anxiety disorders, for a period of 15 minutes, will receive the following manual osteopathic techniques, all performed in the supine position: - Su

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Women who meet the mild and moderate symptoms of the Hamilton Anxiety Scale will be included; It has an age range between 18 and 55 years old; Agree to the Informed Consent Form (FICF) in accordance with Appendix A.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with a HAM-A score equal to or above 30 will be excluded; Present other psychiatric or cognitive disorders; Inability to complete the questionnaires; Associated serious pathologies (such as cancer or severe heart disease); Pregnant women; Being addicted to alcohol or drugs; Not being 18 years old before the beginning of the evaluations; Have completed 56 years or older by the end of the assessments; Use anxiolytic medications during the study period or in the last 6 months; Have undergone manual osteopathic treatment in the last 3 months; If you are absent from any stage of the research protocol; Present any suspicious symptoms (fever, cough, runny nose, difficulty breathing, excessive tiredness, loss of smell or taste) and/or diagnosis of Covid 19; Not using or refusing to wear a personal protective mask.

Primary

As a primary outcome, in response to manual osteopathic treatment in women with anxiety disorder, a better modulation of the parasympathetic nervous system is expected, as well as a better balance between the sympathetic and parasympathetic systems, measured by means of heart rate variability, through the heart rate monitor Polar H10 and the Elite HRV app.

In Hamilton Anxiety Scale, it is expected that the total score will decrease, especially in the physical symptoms of anxiety, representing a lower level of anxiety disorder.;In superficial skin tomography, it is expected that the temperature of the Corrugator of the eyebrow and Periorbital muscles will decrease, if they are altered, representing a lower sympathetic activity in these muscles.;In the WHOQOL-bref (World Health Organization Quality of Life Questionnaire, a higher total score is expected, especially in the items that refer to physical capacity, representing a better quality of life in general.;In PSQI (Pittsburg Sleep Quality Index), a lower total score is expected, representing a better quality of sleep;In the collection of salivary cortisol, a decrease in its levels is expected, representing an improvement in an indicator of global stress.
