Eligibility

Age
18 Years to 50 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age range from 18 to 50 years; both genders; must present tooth(s) with gingival recession that requires surgical treatment with a subepithelial connective tissue graft to be removed from the palate. All teeth in the dental arch must be healthy; with all sites presenting a probing depth of less than or equal to 3mm; with a bleeding rate of less than or equal to 5%; without gingival inflammation and free of carie

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Smokers, pregnant and lactating patients, patients with a previous history of periodontal surgery, patients who have used antibiotic therapy in the last six months or who are using antibiotic therapy, steroidal or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs at the time of the study, positive history of any systemic disorder that contraindicate the surgical procedure, teeth with root caries, non-carious cervical lesions or with any type of previous cervical restoration, extruded, rotated, proclined or mobile teeth, endodontic treatment or pulp pathology in the involved tooth and pathogenic occlusal interferences. Each patient's medical history will be obtained through anamnesis and all participants will undergo a clinical examination

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Hope that there is an improvement in healing, discomfort and quality of life in patients undergoing the combined technique of Advanced platelet-rich fibrin (A-PRF) + Low level laser therapy (LLLT) in Subepithelial connective tissue graft (SCTG) donor sites compared to the isolated use of Advanced platelet-rich fibrin (A-PRF)

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Hope that the newly formed tissue in the donor area is compared to the preoperative thickness in the same location and that there is a reduction in postoperative complications when using Low level laser therapy (LLLT)
