Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants who have surgical complications after hospital discharge; participants who do not show satisfactory adherence to the proposed exercise programs; participants who have a clinical condition that precludes the prescription of physical activity in the postoperative period of bariatric surgery; participants who need a new intervention surgery during the study period; participants who declare themselves pregnant during the study

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected to find less loss of muscle mass assessed by bioimpedance and a lower apnea and hypopnea index assessed by polysomnography in the group that received specific weight training in the postoperative period of bariatric surgery.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Secondary outcomes are not expected.
