Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria for patients Diagnosis of schizophrenia according to DSM-5; Age between 18 and 65 years; Be under drug treatment; Not be involved in another physical activity program. Inclusion criteria for controls For the pairing of the controls, they were recruited by the same sex of the case, by age, 3 years upwards or downwards of the case, the same social class, and not to present a serious mental illness (dementia, depression, mania, generalized anxiety disorder or disorder obsessive-compulsive).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria for patients Use alcohol or drugs in the last month; Systemic or neurological disease; Motor disability; Presence of suicide risk at the time of the intervention; Be pregnant; Don't accept to participate in the study. Exclusion criteria for controls They followed the same criteria as the cases.

| Evaluate the severity of the disease using the BPRS scale; evaluate the behavior of markers of muscle injury and inflammation (lactate, troponin, C-reactive protein and creatinine kinase) after physical interventions; evaluate the degree of sedentary lifestyle by the Simpaq scale and evaluate the quality of life by the SF-36 scale;In the group of patients diagnosed with schizophrenia who underwent aerobic physical intervention, there was a decrease in weight, BMI (body mass index) and systolic and diastolic blood pressure. There was an increase in blood lactate markers, C-reactive protein, creatinine kinase, and there was no improvement in flexibility. On the SF-36 scale that measures quality of life, there was a positive improvement in functional capacity. On the Simpaq scale, there was an improvement in decreasing time, being sedentary. In the group of patients with schizophrenia who underwent postural intervention, there was an increase in blood lactate markers, C-reactive protein, creatinine kinase and troponin after the intervention. On the SF-36 scale, there was a significant improvement in the pain domain, which occurred after the intervention in the cases. | — |
