Stroke

Interventions

Twenty patients with stroke sequelae participated in the study. For the evaluation of cognitive function, the Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE) was applied. The cut of 20 points for illiterates was
25 points for people with schooling from 1 to 4 years
26.5 for 5 to 8 years
28 for those with 9 to 11 years and 29 for more than 11 years, considering the recommendation to use cut scores. An anamnesis form was applied in order to collect socio-demographic and clinical data.

Age
40 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Clinical diagnosis of Cerebral Vascular Accident; presenting kinetic-functional hemiparesis diagnosis; be between 40 and 70 years old; have sequelae time between 3 and 12 months; have preserved cognitive function.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Present another associated neurological disease; have sequelae of rheumatic, orthopedic, or vascular dysfunctions in the paretic hand; three consecutive sessions during the execution of the survey.
