MeasureTime frame
For the assessment of fear of falling, it will be used at the FES-I-Brazil fall efficacy scale, and self-efficacy has been used to understand the reasons that the elderly develop the fear of falling, the maximum score is 64 points, with scores below 23 points indicating greater independence, that is, when the score is higher, the individual will be more afraid of suffering a fall. ;To assess static and dynamic balance, the Berg Balance Scale will be used, the movements required in the test are representative of activities of daily living, are divided into 14 tasks that the individual will need to perform, the maximum score is 56 points and each item has an ordinal scale of five alternatives ranging from 0 to 4 points that will be defined according to the degree of difficulty, therefore, the higher the score, the greater the individual's level of independence, and its score to characterize the risk of falls is a score less than 45 points. ;To assess functional mobility, sitting balance, transferring from sitting to standing, stability during walking and changes in gait path, the Timed Up and Go (TUG) test will be used to perform this test, the patient will be asked who will be in a chair with a back and with arms, get up and walk a distance of 3 meters, go around a cone or a mark on the floor that will be at the end of the stipulated distance, turn around and return the same route and sit on the chair again. The individual needs to be instructed to perform the test safely as soon as possible. The evaluator will measure the time it took the individual to complete the instructions above, and their performance will be analyzed as follows: individuals who are totally free and independent and without changing balance can perform the test in up to 10 seconds; classified with partial independence, or moderate risk of falls, they can perform the test between 10 and 19 seconds, and those who are dependent for activities of daily living and have a significant deficit in physic
