Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The study included women with sedentary ages ranging from 18 to 25 years old with PD diagnosis; according to the nondigorous PD guideline; with a history of a regular menstrual cycle (cycle of 27 to 32 days); non-smoker; with availability of time to perform Auriculotherapy applications; not to perform other physiotherapeutic treatments; and those who accepted to participate in the research by signing the Informed Consent Term (TCLE).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Women with other physical illnesses causing pain; history of pregnancy and / or severe heart; gynecological or autoimmune diseases; in use of any psychotropic drug or hormonal contraception in the last six months; as well as, subjects submitted prior to acupuncture treatment; volunteers with needle phobias and participants who did not respond fully to the sociodemographic questionnaire.
