Age
18 Years to 90 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult patients with parotid neoplasms treated with superficial parotidectomy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Neoplasms located in the deep lobe of the parotid Malignant neoplasms requiring total parotidectomy Previous parotid surgery Facial nerve dysfunction prior to the surgery

MeasureTime frame
Evaluation of the incidence of facial nerve dysfunction (paresis / paralysis) after superficial parotidectomy with or without facial nerve monitoring, determined by video analysis of the patient's face at rest and in movement performed in the immediate postoperative period up to 7 days, and repeated at 90 and 180 days;Assessment of the degree of facial nerve dysfunction evaluated 30 days and 90 days after superficial parotidectomy performed with or without facial monitoring, and graduated according to the House-Brackmann and Sunnybrook scales.
