Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Students over 18 years of age; regularly enrolled in any period of the Undergraduate Dentistry course at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) in the second semester of 2023; both genders

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Students under 18 years of age; who are not enrolled in any period of the Undergraduate Dentistry course at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) in the second semester of 2023

Expected outcome: It is expected that reading the e-book will influence the level of knowledge of undergraduate dentistry students about the early loss of anterior deciduous teeth, regardless of gender, age, period of undergraduate study and whether or not they have studied pediatric dentistry and orthodontics.;Outcome: It was observed that reading the e-book on tooth loss increased the knowledge of dental students on the topic, especially among women and those who had not taken Orthodontics or Pediatric Dentistry.
