| Statistical analyses were performed by 21.0 SPSS version. The non-parametric Mann-Whitney test was used to analyze quantitative variables. Categorical variables were analyzed by chi-square test or Fisher's exact test. P values lower than 0.05 were considered significant. For the multivariate analysis, the binary logistic regression model was fitted to analyze the genotype frequencies, including the variables with significance set at p lower than 0.20.The univariate analysis was used to associate age, extra-alveolar time and the storage medium with root resorption. After multivariate analysis, the extra-alveolar time longer than one hour and the G allele of rs2069843 of the IL6 gene were significantly associated with external root resorption. | — |
