The volunteers will be subdivided into two groups, namely: Aerobic Exercise Group (n = 11), 3 weekly sessions of 20 to 50 minutes, with intensity ranging from 60 to 80% of Aerobic Speed Maximum (VAM)

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criteria will consist of: Being between 45 and 65 years old; be obese, do not have physical problems or cardiovascular complications that prevent the performance of physical activities; have no history of any serious pathology; present a medical certificate confirming that they are able to practice physical exercise; not being a smoker; not make use of alcoholic beverages; have the menstrual cycle interrupted for another 12 months

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The criteria for not including the study will be: Make use of hormone replacement therapy; present a diagnosis of serious illnesses or that compromise physical activity

Expected Outcome 1: It is expected that exercise will promote greater heart rate variability. Checked by the heart rate recording method using a watch that records RR intervals.;Outcome found 1: Greater heart rate variability was observed as a result of aerobic exercise. ;Expected Outcome 2: Exercise is expected to promote greater membrane stability. Checked by the osmotic fragility method that quantifies the variation in red blood cell resistance to hemolysis when exposed to the action of hypotonic saline solutions.;Outcome found 4: No change in membrane stability was observed after exercise.;Expected Outcome 3: It is expected that exercise will promote a reduction in proinflammatory cytokines. Verified by Enzyme Linked Immunosorbant Assay (ELISA) Enzyme Testing Methods;Outcome found 3: No change in proinflammatory cytokines was observed after the exercise.;Expected Outcome 4: It is expected that exercise will promote an improvement in eating disorders. Evaluated using the EAT-26 (Eating Attitudes Test), BES (Binge Eating Scale) and BITE (Bulimic Investigatory Test Edinburgh) questionnaires.;Outcome found 4: An improvement in eating disorders was observed after the exercise.
