Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected that the digital commissure formed by the new technique (hourglass flap) without the use of a skin graft will present satisfactory functional and aesthetic results comparable to the current technique employed (Rectangular Flap), in which the total skin graft is required. It is expected that the commissuroplasty technique with the hourglass flap described by Ni F et al. is feasible, effective and reproducible in cases of syndactyly, offering patients treated at the Institution a viable, effective technique that does not require the removal of a skin graft

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Compare the results of the two surgical techniques, evaluating the depth and width of the commissure, interdigital mobility, aesthetics of the scar and possible complications
